The Christian Classroom

Classroom Routines

Our day begins with prayer and the singing of songs that worship our God and lift up his son Jesus Christ. Your child will hear Bible stories and be asked to respond to their details. Special activities like art and music will reflect biblical teachings, Christian practices and beliefs. Artwork created will depict the stories of life as they are given in the Bible. Throughout the year your child will participate in the special times that help define the Christian faith. Resurrection Day, and Christmas will be seasons of celebration including presentations of special music, and recitations. Contemporary stories of ethics, morality, respect and decency are an integral part of the literature anthology.  As they grow and learn your child will be asked to respond to these teachings about truth, and faith and how they apply them to their lives.

Christian Staff

Our staff are Christians who believe in the Bible as being all truth. They will lead the class in prayer and worship and follow specific lessons that instruct in academic subjects using biblical tenants and truths. For Kings Prep, a highly qualified teacher is someone who is well-trained in presenting academic concepts to children, and a person who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and diligently disciples themselves after Jesus Christ.

Classroom Displays and Presentations

Posters, wall hangings and other classroom resources will reflect both the academics being learned as well as basic tenants of the Christian faith. The classroom may display the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer or Bible verses along with sight words and the alphabet. All of these presentations help to reinforce and direct young minds to the importance of Bible-based academic learning.

Our Mission

We have a "biblical view" of children, we see each child as Jesus saw them, bright, creative, trusting and envisioned by God.  As we educate them about our earth, the world, and its societies as the Bible teaches us, we see them grow into productive disciples of Christ, becoming key contributors to our society as they manage and move in our world with the spiritual guidance of Jesus Christ.
