Kings Prep is proud to presents it in-house developed standards-based Christian curriculum. We use the standards-based academic skills detailed in the IXL Our curriculum uses a mixture of generalized curriculum materials along with Christian focused presentations of our world. The Kings Prep curriculum combines the rigors of standards-based skills sets along materials along with our unique in-house developed "Boys Like Me" curriculum learning packets.

The seasoned educators at Kings Prep seek out and develop our own unique curriculum materials. Our materials are based on real world presentations in nature and humanity and they align with the standards based skills on the IXL platform for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten.

The goal of our unique curriculum mix is to teach and instruct in the academic and learning skills our students need to be successful. The Christian presentation is most reflected in our own uniquely developed curriculum materials that accurately depict God's created nature, human behavior and our environment as children see it and interact with it in daily lives.

Kings Prep is particularly proud of our "Boys Like Me" curriculum materials which include boys of color engaging in academic learning, God's world and His beautiful nature. The curriculum materials depicts children of color in all academic presentations. Additionally, real photos of children of color engaging in our environment and with God's nature are used to pull children often neglected in curriculum material classroom settings.

 

In addition to academic skills learning and engagement and development, "Boys Like Me" further targets boys of color to help appreciate the range of human condition and leads them to develop sympathy and empathy for "their neighbors".
